I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Space Monkeys

I read that Justin Bieber got a haircut and the clippings were auctioned and raised over $40,000 for a charity. All well and good, but if he were really dedicated, he'd get more than just a haircut. Know who is just that dedicated? Me. Know who else? Oh, just the eight-year-old stepson I call Timmer the Swimmer (and we didn't even have to bribe him with the free t-shirt - we only had to reassure him that he'd get a buzzcut and not end up bald). How you can help: -Raise Money: ask people for a few bucks (click on "Participate" from the "Participants" drop-down menu). -Give Money: there is no small donation (click on "Make a Donation"). -Shave Your Head: find an event near you and get a free haircut (click on "Events" near the top of that page). -Spread the Word: tell people what we're doimg, simple as that. ---- Yes, before St. Baldrick's I was a dorky-looking eighth-grader. Now I'm a dorky-looking adult hoping that his hair is what is holding him back. I will remedy this on Sunday, March 13 when I get my head shaved at the Kerry Piper for St. Baldrick's.
