I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

THANK YOU! This year once company matches are recieved we will have $3,065 rasied. The best year ever. 2010 - $2,705 2009 - $2,230 2008 - $2,865 TOTAL over the years - $10,865 None of this was possible without your support. THANK YOU!!! I cannot believe it is 2011! This is the 4th year we have been working together to beat childhood cancer. Many things have happened over this past year that I would like to share .
First, my sister Ginny beat cancer! She has been dealing with complications of the surgery but thankfully she is cancer free. My Aunt Peggy, my mother’s cousin, and our good friend Gail are also beating cancer. Keep up the fight!
Sadly, we lost a truly special person and the nicest guy I have ever met in my life. Jeff Jewel was lost to brain cancer in 2010. Jeff was my age, so still just a kid. He was an exceptional athlete as well as an exceptional person. Please remember life is short and cancer does not discriminate... being young, healthy, and wonderful doesn't make one immune.
We continue to miss and always remember my cousin Larry who passed away in 2008 after battling cancer for many years.
Together we can find the cures for cancer. I will go bald as many times as it takes. I recognize that we all have to make choices about what causes and charities we are able to support and I am so grateful for the generous contributions you have made in the past. Let’s see what we can do this year! As always, I will sponsor anyone who wants to join me in being a "shavee" and I welcome seeing your beautiful bald head!
