I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear Family & Friends, I am asking for your help in fulfilling one of my New Year's Pledges: I am raising money for the Saint Baldrick's Foundation For Cancer Research, an organization dedicated to preventing & treating cancer in children. After my parent's complained about my long hair in a photo they saw from December 2009, I resolved to shave my hair in a St. Baldrick's annual Charity Head Shaving Event on March 12, 2010. Shavee's raise money by securing pledges from Family & Friends. This is where you come in. Please help support me in efforts to support St. Baldrick's. One of their beneficiaries is Children's Hospital & Research Center, Oakland. My head will be shaved there, at the event beginning 4:30 PM (I'll probably be shaved at about 6:00). You are welcome to attend and witness the shaving. I have chosen Children's Hospital @Research Center Oakland to receive any money my bald head earns. Many cancers diagnosed in children are curable. Cancer sucks for everyone, but especially for children. This is why I am determined to help, even if my ears will be cold for a while. You can view here pictures as my hair grows; and, of course, post-shave photos after March 12. I donated the first $100. I hope to raise at least $1000. As of today, I am just over half-way there. No donation is too small. Please visit my webpage and make your tax-deductible donation as soon as you can! Thanks! ps: for Easter, please send hats.
