NOTICE:
I wish to be unequivocally clear. The $5,000 goal is my absolute MINIMUM! I will willingly participate IF you all assist me in achieving my MINIMUM.

For every $1,000 that exceeds the minimum, I will reduce the guard size.
$0 - $4,999 = no cut
$5,000 - $5,999 = 8
$6,000 - $6,999 = 7
$7,000 - $7,999 = 6
$8,000 - $8,999 = 5
$9,000 - $9,999 = 4
$10,000 + = 3

You might ask yourself why.. why is she doing this… and why this year..

- I am participating to honor two cousins who triumphed over childhood leukemia.
- To commemorate my 38 years with the Reno Fire Department.
- To celebrate my Dad and Uncle’s birthday who would have been 83. Love and miss you both.

Please help me reach my minimum goal!

Thank you in advance for your support!

History of the challenge..

A friendly challenge from 25 years ago has evolved into the largest volunteer initiative aimed at Conquering Kids' Cancer. This year, I am joining thousands of others in shaving my head to raise funds for childhood cancer research!

Did you know that 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. will not survive? For those who do survive, over 96% will face severe or life-threatening conditions by the age of 50.

Every shaved head, every trimmed lock, and every dollar contributed generates a ripple effect of advancement for children battling cancer.

Your contribution will provide hope to children and their families, supporting the foremost research nationwide, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

Together, let us provide these children with the lifetime they rightfully deserve. Thank you for your generous support!
