I am helping to raise money for childhood cancer research

Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child?

I’m raising funds with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to support research that finds cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers, providing hope for children and families facing this fight.

Why?

May 2021 is when our world was turned upside down when our sweet boy Christian's received a diagnosis of a glioblastoma brain tumor.  After two back to back brain surgeries to remove his apple size tumor in his frontal lobe, 6 weeks of intensive radiation and chemo, a month break and then a good year and a half of chemo Christian is now in maintenance and goes for brain scans every 3-4 months.   His positive attitude and fighting spirit has been inspiring to all that know his story.  Christian returned to college for his senior year while doing chemo and graduated.  It was after his graduation that he found a new purpose, fundraising for St. Baldrick's Foundation.

St. Baldrick's is more than just a charity; it's a lifeline for families like ours.  Their mission to support childhood cancer research is pivotal in the fight against this terrible disease.  Every dollar raised goes directly toward funding innovative research projects that aim to find better treatments and ultimately cures for childhood cancers, including glioblastoma.

By Participating in fundraising, and head-shaving we are not only raising awareness about childhood cancer but we honor all those brave kids battling this horrific disease.  Together, we can ensure that no child has to face this battle alone.

thank you for standing with us in this battle to end Childhood Cancer through research.

Our last three St. Baldrick's Chenkstrong events we raised over $75,000.  We could not do that without your support.

Because cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids.

Thank you for your support and donation!
