My Story

Casey was diagnosed with ALL at age 2 1/2. She completed treatment at age 5, shortly after starting kindergarten. Casey has been finished with treatment since November 2006, and reached the five year milestone of being cancer free for five years in 2011. Casey is a junior in High School, and is interested in pursuing a major in architecture in college.  She is a creative,  intelligent,  outgoing young lady, with a bright personality.  Casey has been involved in dance for 13 years, and has been playing softball for 11 years.
Casey is an honor roll student, and has volunteered for many organizations and events that have been involved in helping our family during the course of her treatment, and beyond.   Casey has a younger sister, Jaime, who is now 13.  Jaime was born while Casey was undergoing treatment.  Jaime looks up to her big sister, and Casey is very protective of her.
