I am helping to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CHKD

This is my 5th year raising money to fund childhood cancer research and my 35th year as a pediatric nurse. Last year I was surprised to raise $5000 and shaved my head! You can check out the video below.

Only 4 cents of every government cancer research dollar goes to kids. And those funds are shrinking. 
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation supports research that finds cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers. 

Cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids.

 I had the honor of caring for all the honored kids pictured.
