It's that time again!

This is year 13 for me. Thank you for your continued support throughout the years!

Why am I shaving my head again, and, why should you care?

A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others, including my Brothers on Team Bald Eagles, to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!

When I was a little boy, I was very sick and spent a lot of time in the children's unit of the hospital. I was locked in an oxygen tent and couldn't leave my room. My best friend in the hospital was Tony. He was another little dude in my hall who would come down to my room to visit me. Tony had cancer. I made it out of there. Tony didn't.

Take a look at the kids I am honoring on this page. I've met most of them. They are all fantastic people!

I never got to meet Justin but he has made a huge impact on me throughout the years. I wish I could tell him. But, I can't. He fought this horiffic battle six different times. He was ninja-strong, but, he lost his battle in 2014. I have no idea how many times I have watched this video of Justin. He was such an awesome little dude. He never got a chance to live the full, awesome life he deserved.

^^^ All of these kids are the reason I do this!!! ^^^

In the 1950s, almost all kids diagnosed with cancer died. Because of research, today, about 90% of kids with the most common type of cancer will live. But for many other types of kids' cancers, progress has been limited, and for some kids there is still little hope for a cure.

Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer. Thank you for being a part of this!

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Grant & Team Bald Eagles
