I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CyberMaxx

For the past 18 years, I have been honored to participate in the St. Baldrick's annual fund raising efforts. For Bill Hogan and I, it started in 2005 at a CIO dinner in downtown NYC at Tiro A Signo, where John Lacava and Kevin Shine were in attendance.

John had a freshly shaved head and when asked why he has such short hair, he shared the St. Baldrick's background and story and said "Joe...your head would get a lot of money".

At that very moment, Bill and I were both committed and the rest is history.  18 years later, over 1000 shavees, $7M+ dollars donated by thousands of people and many companies, we continue our commitment in 2023. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever.

St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research is changing that and the kids and families are counting on all of us to help find a cure. No donation is too small and your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all that have supported our efforts in the past and thank you to those that continue to support our journey and mission.
