I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's that time again friends!!! Time to go bald for kids with cancer and the ones who gave it their all til the very end. This time I'm hosting my very own head-shaving event here on Long Island and hope to see you all there to support our small heroes! I'm here this year to raise more money than I did in 2016 and to show everyone that one person can make a difference, but it's way better when we do it all together. I can't wait to see you all on September 10th for our fundraiser and celebration!

Words from my 2016 shave:

"I'm shaving my head to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. But maybe more importantly, I'm shaving my head to stand side by side these little warriors as they go through treatment and kick cancer's butt each and every day. While these kids and young adults embody a kind of bravery that I may never understand in this lifetime, I can only hope that my tiny act of bravery can at least make them realize that they are never alone. That cancer is powerless against a positive mind. That they are truly as strong as they believe they are. That there is such a thing as being fearless and being perfect and that they are both of those things. If anything, I want all the little warriors to know that hair doesn't matter, appearances never matter. What matters is fighting with all of your heart, the courage you choose to have everyday, never giving up, and finding your happiness at all costs. Imperfection is merely misconception.

Please help me on this journey. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers! Let's kick cancer's butt together!"

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because with your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives.

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
