My Story

Shane was in school on February 23 when his doctor called his mom and strongly recommended that she bring him to the ER after receiving his blood work results. Shane had recently had bilateral Bell’s Palsy but his mom thought the doctor might be overreacting. An hour or so later, 5 doctors pulled his mom in a room and told her he had a large mass in his chest and likely had leukemia. It’s nearly 3 months later and the shock hasn’t worn off. Shane has 3 siblings and the entire family’s world has been turned upside down to fight this. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
