I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fighting Irishman with Francis Parker School

This is my 11th year on Team Fighting Irishman, waging a battle to fight childhood cancer. We are striving for a mighty goal this year: to reach the million dollar mark for monies raised at this event. Children here in Louisville have directly been affected by treatments discovered through monies raised by St. Baldrick's. Our hero and namesake, THE Fighting Irishman, Patrick McSweeney, will be finally cancer free this May after 7 relapses and 19 years in treatment. Please help us to save the lives of more children facing cancer today. 

What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? At our event, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research. During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. 

 I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Please support me with a donation. Thank you!
