I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sacramento Beer Enthusiasts

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sacramento Beer Enthusiasts

I signed up for my first St. Baldrick's event in 2019 because I felt a need to do something to give back to my community. Then I learned about Lauren McCullough, an extraordinary Elk Grove student and swimloomer whose story was later told by accomplished documentarian Beth Ruyak.  (www.ruyakmedia.com/thenotdyinggirl). Lauren's story will always inspire me.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. With your donation, together we can help save lives. Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020. Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Though Lauren sadly lost her battle with Ewing’s sarcoma when she was just 21, your donation can help other children beat cancer -- and give hope to the millions of families devastated by the insidious disease of cancer.

Please support me with your donation and in person when I get shaved on March 6 at Mulvaney's in Midtown Sacramento. Hope to see you there.

Thank you!
