I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Jake's Journey to Find a Cure

Miles shaved his head last year in honor of his buddy Jake, who, because of a combination of leukemia and now a pandemic, he's only met once. Jake is an incredible guy who is in remission -- for that we are so grateful. Miles is only 5, but he understands why shaving his head is a no-brainer... both in terms of showing support for friends going through chemo as well as because it helps raise money to help prevent kids from having to go through this in the first place. I still cry for my friends, Jeff and Ashlee, who have been through the gauntlet. But, for Miles, he just wants us to find a way to get to St. Louis to hang out with a superhero,. He has big plans for this happy day that involve a water slide and light sabers. We were blown away by the donations from friends and family last year, and we hope to make this final year of Jake's Journey a huge success.
