I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am once again volunteering and raising money with St. Baldrick's to help kids with cancer! In 2013 I formed TEAM LIFE in honor of my daughter Ava Snyder after personally seeing what this dreadful disease and treatment does to young children. Ava was diagnosed at 20 months with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and had almost 3 years of treatment. We are thrilled to report that she remains classified as "Cancer Free"!  Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.   I refuse to accept this reality, there is still no cure, just treatments with awful short and long term side effects. We continue to be determined to help find a cure so no other child will go through what Ava went through. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Now I need your help! Please help me raise the much needed funds so no child has to endure this disease. Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive! Join me today and let'd #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
