I was just a kid myself when I watched our family friend, Timmy, fight - and lose - his battle with childhood cancer. And just this past year, a friend from high school lost his 3 year old to cancer. Nearly 30 years difference reminds me that there is still so much work to be done.
So...
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. My goal is $360 - $10 for every birthday I've been blessed to have. Will you make a donation to join in the cause? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Kids like Timmy, Adrian, Michael, Mason, Rilee, Greer...and so many more.
