I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ava Warriors

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ava Warriors

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Ava: Ava was 9 years old and in 4th grade with me.  Ava was diagnosed with a DIPG tumor. She lost her fight after a courageous battle.  Ava was my friend.   Her brother Max is part of our team and is shaving in honor of his sister, Ava.  DIPG is horrible and we have to find cure!  We have to fund research to find a cure!

Grandma Kay:    My Grandma Kay died from lung cancer when I was 4 years old.  She loved to laugh and sing Irish songs.  I miss her and want to find a cure so other kids don't miss their grand parents : - (

Barb Honeyman James:   Barb was an amazing women I met while volunteering for Casey's Safe Haven, an equine rescue group.  Barb personally rescued a lot of horses and donkeys across the country.  She was sweet and helpful and came to the barn to help even when she was being treated for cancer.  I miss her happy face at our barn.  Cancer stinks!!!!
