As some of you know in 2011 I not only lost my uncle to Brain Cancer, but also my best friend from college. Drew was more like my brother and I definitely lost him too soon. I could go into all the details about what he suffered from, but today it's not the past I want to focus on. Today is about the event on March 9th, that I am trying to raise money for in honor of Drew.
St. Baldrick's puts on one of the best fundraisers I have ever been to. Again this year Drew's Bel Air firehouse buddies will be shaving their heads to raise money for kids with cancer. Nick and I drove in this past year to attend the event, but this year we are trying to step up and help raise money. Now I couldn't shave my head, Drew wouldn't approve of the look, but the guys that do are some of the bravest guys I have ever met. They meant the world to Drew and I thank them everyday for what they are doing and what they have done for him in the past.
So please help me raise money and support these great guys do an honorable thing in the fight for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
