I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Invincible

Friend: "Hey, Kristen...I bet you $50 you won't shave your head!"

Kristen: "Challenge accepted." :)

That's right ... I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

**hair length to date 6.22.2014: 20 inches (my hair will be donated after the event to Wigs for Kids, www.wigsforkids.org) 7/12/14
This past week, I had the honor and pleasure of crossing paths with a very special family. Because of this silver lining, I am participating in support of Daniel Nickerson, 5 yrs old, of Foxboro, MA. Daniel has Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brain tumor. To learn more about Danny, visit: http://www.gofundme.com/danielsjourney
