Our son, Bodhi, was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma at the end of kindergarten. Having a golf-ball sized tumor surgically removed from your brain is no way to spend your sixth birthday!
Thanks to the research funds and support from organizations like St. Baldricks, Bodhi is a happy, healthy 9 year-old. Our family owes a debt that could never be repayed to these organizations and the folks who support them, whether it be monetarily or with their time volunteering.
I'm shaving my head (OK, mostly my giant beard, not much grows up top) to raise money to further childhood cancer research! Barb, my wife and I will be joined by our own real-life Super Hero Bodhi in the chair on March 12th. Mila is our Jarvis, keeping us organized and on task, and wisely not shaving.
