I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Avenghairs

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Avenghairs

AVENGHAIRS ASSEMBLE!

Our son, Bodhi, was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma at the end of kindergarten. Having a golf-ball sized tumor surgically removed from your brain is no way to spend your sixth birthday!

Thanks to the research funds and support from organizations like St. Baldricks, Bodhi is a happy, healthy 9 year-old. Our family owes a debt that could never be repayed to these organizations and the folks who support them, whether it be monetarily or with their time volunteering.

I'm shaving my head (OK, mostly my giant beard, not much grows up top) to raise money to further childhood cancer research! Barb, my wife and I will be  joined by our own real-life Super Hero Bodhi in the chair on March 12th. Mila is our Jarvis, keeping us organized and on task, and wisely not shaving.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? One of the most profound differences is childhood cancer research is massively underfunded.

Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Children like Bodhi...

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
