I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Hi everyone! I'm raising a donation for $750 to help efforts in fighting childhood cancer; one thousand dollars is worth 45 Sirloin Steak & Shrimp Plates at the local IHOP; that's worth around 1500 USPS postcards for the same cost. This amount of money is really not that big when everyone pitches in at least a small amount; think of each of those meals at the IHOP. If only 45 people bought Steak and Shrimp there, you all would have filled the goal in an evening or two. And aside from the meals, real people are being helped by these donations. My grandma, Dr. B (the most dedicated teacher I've had the pleasure of working with), and I'm assuming your family and friends too have seen the horrors of cancer play out recklessly. Now imagine this horror rooming with a child, the family fearing of losing their most special friend. Donations like these no matter how small help cancer research wade further into this dark river to reach the end of child suffering.
