I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide and 1 in 5 won't survive. Yet despite the fact that more children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease, the world was understandably distracted in 2020. With 435 fundraising events being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, funding for advances in cancer treatment dropped significantly.

As the president of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) at Rocky Vista University, I have made this page to ask that you please donate here to the St. Baldrick's Foundation and help fund childhood cancer research. I will also be fundraising by running in the virtual 5k event, and as such I'd be happy to take sponsors if you want to make me sweat for those donations.

I foresee a day when every child can be promised a cure and by donating here, you can help to make that dream into a reality. Whether you decide to generously donate what you can, share this page on social media or, join SOMA by fundraising and running in the virtual 5k event, I hope you'll be a part of the excitement.

Let help kids grow up cancer-free!
