Today is my birthday. Today I turn 14. Some kids wonder if they'll make it that far. Some kids don’t. I am proud to stand together with these fantastic human beings and shave my head. Yes, my ears may get a little cold, but that is the best price I could ever pay to help cure cancer. I want to reach a point where no kid has to wonder if they'll make it to their next birthday and I can only do that with your help.
I may only be 14, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make a meaningful difference. Kids my age and younger like Carmen fight against cancer with everything they've got. They and everyone else fighting that battle are the bravest, strongest, and most courageous of all of us, so standing in solidarity and support with them is the least I can do. My hair is nothing compared to the struggles they have faced. Please consider donating just a little bit of your time and money to help find cures for these deserving and worthy people. Heartbreakingly for some, like Cassidy, it’s too late. Help to save these wonderful people from a devastating diagnosis. Be a life saver, donate now.
