I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Yep! I am shaving my head on March 26, 2011. I am raising money for children with cancer. I want to shave my head to raise funding for the St. Baldricks foundation. It is a great foundation and one's days wage (http://www.onedayswages.org/donate/org/shave-angies-head). I have thought a lot about this decision, and it is an experience I want to go through.
A 24 year old cancer survivor recently told me the hardest part of cancer was losing her hair. I know this will be hard for me too, but this is an action I am deciding to take. I want to let these children know they are not alone in battling this disease.
So I am asking YOU for support, to support me in my decision and to support children suffering for cancer.

Your Roles
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
