I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Raag On

Ever since I started college, my goal has been to make a difference in the world. Right off the bat, I joined the Co-Ed Service Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, in hopes to make a difference through serving others. Through my participation in APO, I have developed a great passion for volunteering and service. Serving others is all about putting forth everything in your heart for the greater good of another person. In my college experience, I have also discovered that there are many other ways in which one can make a difference. One way being as simple as supporting another person. And that's why I'm here today. I am asking you to help me make a difference. I have decided to stand in solidarity with children fighting cancer by shaving my head and more importantly, raising money to find cures for this disease. I have not had a personal experience with cancer in any way. One of the main reasons why I have decided to become a shavee is that fact that I want to let kids know that they don't have to have a head full of hair to be beautiful, happy, or confident. What really matters is the strength of your heart and the brightness of your personality. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask you to support me, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you so much for all your help! I hope you will come out to this great event and witness life changing moments happening right in front of your eyes.
