I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Pendo

Thanks to all of you who have supported St Baldricks so far!

As I get ready for my 12th event, I wanted to send a reminder on why I do this year after year. We originally joined St Baldricks as the answer to “What can we do?” when we were feeling the helplessness that all parents feel when they here the words “your child has cancer”. By getting outside ourselves, we were able to shift our focus and survive those devastating words. Thankfully, our son survived and also discovered a passion for cooking that has led to a career as a chef. But I don’t only shave for him….because in that same time frame we lost a dear friend of Connor’s at the cancer center. Our veterinarian’s daughter got cancer. A family member’s child got cancer. And thousands more did as well…..that is why we continue to fight childhood cancers.

Will you join us this year and help us shave the way to a cure? If your heart feels moved, please go to this link and give what you can to help conquer childhood cancers for good!
