In honor of all of my family members and friends who have fought and survived cancer, and in memory of those who fought hard and now rest in peace, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Here's the deal, I'll shave my head if $2000 are raised in my name no later than Shave-day, Monday after Thanksgiving. As soon as the $2000 are raised by WCUCOM students, faculty and staff (and friends), I'll post the campaign info on my social media and raise even more $$$. In addition, I'll donate my hair to Pantene for wigs for cancer patients. https://pantene.com/en-us/brandexperience/make-the-cut
See you at Ed's Burger Joint on Shave-day!
