I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On March 10th I will be shaving my beard and what little hair I have on my head at Napper Tandy’s in Northport in order to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

This will be my tenth year raising money for this great charity. Three years ago I was titled as a “Knight of the Bald Table” and this year I am designated as “Knight Commander” for my 10 years of participation in St. Baldrick’s. Obviously, this charity is near and dear to my heart. I'd like to think that the next dollar donated will be the one that funds a cure for this terrible disease.

Once again I will be participating in honor of Marissa Factora, a former Longwood student, Alex Mele, a former student who lost his battle with cancer at the age of fourteen, and Alec Campo, a childhood friend of my son. I will also be honoring the memory my brother Jimmy, who passed away in 2005 from cancer.

My goal is $1,000. Please help in whatever way you can. You can make a donation by credit card or you can give me cash or a check (made out to St. Baldrick’s) and I will submit it for you on the day of the event.

Thank you  for your continued support.
