St. Bernadette School is holding our 5th St. Baldrick's event in memory of our hero and friend, Michael Orbany, a former student at St. Bernadette School. In October 2010, Michael was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor. Over the course of a year, he courageously completed his treatments, standing strong in faith, hope and love. His cancer returned in 2012 and metastasized to his spine. Michael never let this disease define him. He lit up a room with his smile wherever he went. His attitude of unwavering faith and never giving up clearly defined his character, along with wanting to bring happiness to others. Throughout his journey, many people have learned from him and feel his energy to help themselves. Michael won his victory in heaven on May 1, 2014. Please help us to honor Michael and all the brave children who show their strength and heroism daily. NEGU Is For Us Now.

As the lead event organizer and Michael's teacher and friend, I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Please support me and our event with a donation. Thank you!

The video below shows Michael, our inspiration, in a video of encouragement that our entire school put together for him.
