I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

If you know me at all, you will know that i am not an emotional person whatsoever!! Just kidding- I am overfilled with emotions!! I am full of love, kindness, big hugs, sympathy, empathy and compassion. I am a person who feels other people’s pain when they have it in their heart.

This St. Baldricks is something that has tugged at my heartstrings and has crossed my mind a time or 2. Then I woke up Feb 22nd of 2020 and there was something (or someone) who told me to just DO IT!! Do it for everyone that I know who is in my life that are currently fighting hard to win this battle. Do it for those in remission and still have fear about it coming back. Do it for all of those loved ones that I’ve had the honor to know but have passed from it.

In memory of Samantha Kari’s cousin (age 8),  Austin (age 10)Courtney’ s cousin who lost their fight to childhood cancer!

Honoring Paker (10-year-old) Janice’s grand nephew who has a brain tumor that is inoperable seeking treatment.

Honoring through St. Baldrick’s Shane, Lucy and Derek kids that are still fighting!

And to EVERYONE in my life that has been affected by cancer!

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers and in honor of those who have impacted my life personally. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments!! Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let's #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
