I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hairless Heroes

You may have often wondered if Sean and Alan are crazy (well, Sean more than Alan, but that’s beside the point). What they have up their sleeves now may shock you at first, but then, when you hear the whole story, you’ll be proud that you know these two nuts. Sean and Alan are going to SHAVE THEIR HEADS!!!!! Yes, you read that right. They are going to shave ALL THE HAIR OFF THEIR HEADS! Alan and Sean, friends since they were 14, have been there for each other when the other was watching a loved one suffer and die from cancer. Alan lost his God-mother and Sean lost his mother to this horrific disease. Sean and Alan will shave their heads in an effort to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds research organizations like the Children’s Oncology Group, whose 5,000 members and 230 institutions collaborate to speed progress against cancer more quickly than if hospitals worked independently; and has established the St. Baldrick’s Fellowships which encourages promising new medical professionals to pursue pediatric cancer research as a specialty. Unlike many of the children who face an uncertain future that are helped by donations to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Sean and Alan are lucky enough to know that their hair will grow back. So, they figure that if a little off the top will help save the life of a child, it’s a small price to pay. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation by sponsoring Alan and Sean to shave their heads. They know that times are tough for everyone, but no one more so than a child facing cancer. So please consider a generous donation of $25, $50, or even better, $100! Together we can make a difference!
