I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My Seven-year-old son, Johnny, and I are shaving together this year! One of Johnny's best friends lost a sister just over a year ago, and he said he wanted to join me, so "the doctors and scientists can stop kids from getting sick." I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have three wonderful children, and one selfless enough to want to help out in this way. Please help Johnny and me put an end to childhood cancer. This is the second year that Downers Grove South High School is hosting this private event, and we are hoping to raise over $40,000 for this incredibly worthwhile organization. Last year, we raised over $47,000 - an incredible amount for our first attempt! This is thanks to many of you who were able to donate to our worthy cause. As the Student Activities Director here and the event organizer, I'm hoping that you can help my son and me raise over $2,000. Every little bit helps, and we would really appreciate anything you can spare to help our cause. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on our behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure, and so the doctors and scientists can stop kids from getting sick.
