My name is Aidan and I was first diagnosed with A.L.L luekima in January of 2019 at the age of 5. At that time I was a happy go lucky 5 year old who loved kindergarten loved my brother and sisters my mom and dad my whole family. When I suddenly got really sick and no one seemed to know what was wrong with me and after a week of my mom taking me to this doctor that doctor finally there was a answer I had luekima. My family was devastated I was so scared but with my mom and dad by my side I know I would be ok. I was so lucky because I had some great doctors as well Dr. Z and Dr. Simon. They helped alot over the years, I had many ups and downs. Then just 3 years later march of 2022, I was done with all treatment I rang the bell I was so happy. I had my port removed may of "22" and everything. But just a few months later in june of 2022. I noticed something didn't seem right with my body. I was now 9 and I had already been through so much in my life I knew when something was wrong. I went to my mom and I told her she checked and immediately called my doctors. She took me into the clinic and by the look on Dr. Z face my mom was scared. After two biopsies it was confirmed my cancer was back and it was back  in my bone marrow and one of my testicle. I was so sad and mad and angry why me I had already been through so much. I was going back to in person school I was going to start learning boxing and MMA fighting. I was going to learn how to play football like my big brother and baseball. But now all that had to be placed on hold and I was crushed. I was so hurt because I had been looking forward to being a normal kid and being able to do all the things I wanted. But again I had my mom and dad my siblings and family all in my corner and I knew I had to fight once again. So here I am fighting, fighting to beat this fighting to have the opportunity to have some what a normal life. There are days when it's tough and days when it's not so bad. But through it all I have a family that loves me and I love them.
