I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM ROWE

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! My family has been very blessed that we never had to face having a child with Cancer and I pray that this continues through our grand children lives as well. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. If the words that I have put here don't sway you into making a donation, I ask you to read the letter about the Child that I chose as my HONORED KID. After reading the words that were written about Marik VanWinkle I have not a doubt in my mind that I am doing the right thing by trying to raise money so that these diseases can be cured and that children no longer have to suffer through the fight to live. Please read about my HONORED KID.

I have done a lot of walks / runs, but this year I decided to do something new. I thought that I could raise money to help save children from having to go through cancer. If my getting my head and face shaved helps to save even one child and family from having to deal with cancer, or saves one life, then it is totally worth it. Help me to help them, I think that it is worth it, I hope that you will too.
