Celebrating 25 Years

Rova/Verizon Give Back Challenge

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research at: St. Baldrick's Irish Festival in the City of Rochester

In the spirit of holiday giving last month, the team at Rova (the fine folks behind Verizon MDM) wanted to help conquer childhoods cancers with the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

We know that a lot of awesome folks at Verizon have donated each year to the cause and that Verizon will match those donations dollar for dollar. Now Rova will also match your original donation, making it 3 times bigger.

Say you wanted to donate $100, Verizon would match and donate $100 and then Rova would do a 2nd $100 donation match. Your generous donation would get tripled to a total of $300! They have committed to match up to $10,000 in total donations by Verizon employees, which could result in $30,000 in total going to fund life saving research into childhood cancers.

This double match would apply to whatever you could afford to give, $25, $50, $100, $250, (limit of $1000 per employee) whatever you can afford to help in this battle would result in 3 times your donation to fund new treatments and cures.

There is still time to donate.

It's 3 easy steps.

Step 1: Make your donation here, see that green donate button up there? Click it!

Step 2: Then go to the Verizon page here: www.verizon.com/about/responsibility/giving-and-grants Login in and register your donation to the St. Baldricks Foundation and reference "FUNDRAISER 4983". The Rova Match will show up now, the Verizon match may take a few weeks.

Step 3: Pat yourself on the back! You're now a hero to kids with cancer and their families! Who knows, maybe the top donation may get a little extra something in recognition.

For anyone outside of Verizon, you're more than welcome to make a donation as well, please check to see if your company offers a match. Let's make this December a little better for all the families impacted by childhood cancer.

What could be more important than saving the life of a child?

That’s what this fundraiser is all about. Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.Your gift will give kids hope by supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
