Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Kitty Hoynes St. Baldrick's Family Parade with US!

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

We are so excited to see everyone for the 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Syracuse on SATURDAY, March 14, 2026!

+ Kitty's Hoynes St. Baldrick's Family is #9 and part of the Grand Marshal Division

+Arrival Time : 11:30am

+ Arrival Location: Erie Boulevard West & Clinton Street. Because of Street Closures enter the parade route at the intersection of S. Geddes and Erie Blvd. West, heading east on Erie until you reach our position

+ You can access general parade information at https://www.syracusestpatricksparade.org/ . Please familiarize yourself with the maps available

+ Please be prepared for ALL WEATHER! You will be walking the route with us! We will have some banners and pictures for you to hold. If you have something that you would like to bring to hold (pictures, etc) please make sure they keep with the theme of the day and St. Baldricks. Wear your best and brightest St. Particks & Baldrick's gear!

+ Please note that NO ALCOHOL is to be consumed while on the parade route. Please read over the attached rules. They can also be found on the parade website. No Open Containers, I'm not saying we have to complete Saints here, but use your discretion, we have the rest of the day to party away!

+ No Unaccompanied Minors Please, this isn't a drop in babysitting service, haha!

Susan from St. Baldricks & her daughter Daisy will be there to greet you and help pass out items and help organize as much as possible! We will have a wagon with some supplies. The Marshals will be getting to our position in the parade after Mass at the Cathedral. If you are interested in attending that, it starts at 10AM.

If anyone needs anything right now, please text me, 315-559-5555. This is the easiest for me. You are welcome to bring people with you, just make sure that everyone is on their best behavior. I'm telling the Greek parade people from the church the same thing, they will be right behind your group!

Thanks Everyone,

Sophia

We are so honored to have been asked to Grand Marshall the 2026 Syracuse St. Patrick's Day Parade!  Now it is your chance, as former participants in our many Kitty Hoynes events to come march with us!

If you are interested in marching with us on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Syracuse, please make a small donation to our page! We will use this donor list as our attendee list for marching with us.  This nominal fee will let us share important information needed for you to participate, and at the very least raise some more $$$ for St. Baldrick's!

Please note, THIS IS NOT A HEAD SHAVING EVENT!  We just want to be able to share this fun experience with all of our participants that have joined us through the last 20+ years at Kitty Hoynes.  Shavees, volunteers, honored kids and families, let's get the gang together again!

If you prefer not to make a donation (at any $$ amount) but would still like to participate or have any questions, please contact Sophia, via text:  315-559-5555, or email, sophiameskos@yahoo.com .

Stay tuned for some more announcements regarding head shaving events in our area as well!
