Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Deutsches Haus (formerly Oak St. Block Party for the Cure)

NOLA you've been great in supporting this worthy cause for years, since Morgan, Bill Clinton and I brought the first St. Baldricks to town at Parasols in March of 2003. So join us for our 10 year anniversary of St. Baldrick's in NOLA. This year, we're going indoors. The Deutsches Haus has agreed to have us, which gives us plenty of options. Since the Haus is born/bred in NOLA and residing in Metairie, we would like to challenge NOPD, JPSO, NOFD and JPFD to all get involved and make this year's competition even better than it has been. As you know, this is a great opportunity to be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. As we say, Be Brave, Geaux Bald!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
