Be a hero for kids with cancer and their families! UPDATE: 2/8/2018 - 10:05 a.m.

Hello out there all supporters of Baldville. I am pleased to announce that our event will be held this year at Mile Wide Beer Company on Barret Avenue in Louisville. Mile Wide has graciously agreed to serve as our venue host and is looking forward to all of the energy and excitement that this event brings. We are grateful for their partnership. There will be plenty of free parking!

As many of you know, the first St. B's event was held in 2000 in a pub in Manhattan. To celebrate the Sweet 16th birthday of our particular event, No. 85, we are returning to the roots of St. Baldrick's as it all began. By holding our event at Mile Wide we will be foregoing some of the big production aspects of recent previous years and instead focusing on a more warm, down home cozy atmosphere. However, the energy and excitement will still be in abundance for our shavees, donors, and volunteers. We will have plenty of activities for the kids.

In 2017 we Took A Swing at Cancer and hit it out of the park with the tremendous efforts that raised $155,952! Please continue to fund raise as we are off to a good start. We are happy to see new folks as well as our great supporters from last year and previous years.

If you want to serve as a volunteer for the logistics of the event please sign up on line and be sure to select your shirt size. We appreciate your help.

Please remember if you are a shavee to pick your time on the scheduler! It helps us attempt to stay on track time wise.

Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! We appreciate your support.

This particular event has changed hands over the years but since it's inception in 2003 we have - through the great supporters of this cause -- raised more than $2.7 million. That's amazing results from a generous city. Let's add to that figure this year! Let's not just meet....but exceed our goal.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!
