Event Details

This year is the 17th Annual Growler Invitational Beach Volleyball Tournament. Last year we surpassed  $1 MILLION dollars for St. Baldrick's and children's cancer research. We won't stop until a CURE IS FOUND! We will be honoring 4 year old Zeke this year!

The Growler is North Raleigh's Largest Social Sporting Event of the Summer. 36 Teams from 7 North Raleigh Swim Clubs compete for the coveted Growler Cup. The tournament spans 4 Tuesday nights, July 30th - Aug 20th with the "ROCK THE BALD" head shaving festivities culminating the final Championship night on Aug 20th. All proceeds benefit St. Baldrick's Foundation. With the help of 75+ corporate sponsors and great volunteers, our event has raised over a $1,100,000  for Children's Cancer Research.

Come out each week for great food, local brews, live music, and entertaining volleyball action. Visit GrowlerVolleyball.com for more details.

Hope to see you this year. Join us to have some fun – and be a hero for kids with cancer!

This is why we GROWL for these kids:
~Every 2 MINUTES a child is diagnosed with cancer
~1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer
~Since 1980 LESS THAN 10 DRUGS have been made for children with cancer
~The average age of a child diagnosed with cancer is 6!!
~More than 95% of childhood cancer survivors have significant health issues before age 40 caused by the cancer and the 30+ year old POISONS used to "treat" them.

Thank you for your support! Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
