Event Details

RVC 3/21/20 Event Cancelled--Now a virtual/Remote event  Shavees & ponytail choppers will now be shaving and chopping remotely, at a later date, in next weeks or months, whenever they are comfortable and it is safest. They can pick the date and salon of their choosing (and yes can even wait until next year's event to shave if that is what you are most comfortable with). We do still need your donations to their fundraising pages--now more than ever--since money not raised means money not available to fund (and reallocate to) the the hundreds of research grants and treatments that are awaiting St Baldrick's annual funding. Please keep the support and donations coming! St Baldrick's needs the donations now more than ever since March & April are typically their busiest event months and about 90% of their funds are raised during these months. Please donate (or donate again) any amount to the one or several of the registered fundraising participants. And mark your calendars for next year's RVC event on March 20,2021--which will be bigger and better than ever.

Be a hero for kids with cancer! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Please donate to a participant's fundraising page today or during the next few weeks. New virtual shavees are also still welcome to sign up, plan their shave date and fundraise. Childhood cancer does not stop for COVID-19. Our small town has been so sadly and largely impacted by childhood cancer. Please help us keep raising funds for childhood cancer research so a cure and better treatments can be found for every type of pediatric cancer asap. For more information or questions, contact Alanna Bender-516-697-6383 or benderalanna@gmail.com. Thank you!
