Top 10 Reasons to participate in St. Baldrick’s on Thursday March 14th at 1:50pm in D’Angelo Center 10. No more annoying split ends. 9. Save money on expensive hair care products…and have more money for college tuition! 8. Sleep in and still get to your morning classes on time: no more drying, combing, styling. (downside: less excuses to give your professor when you’re still late). 7. Bad hair days will become a thing of the past. 6. No more having to clean out your shower drain. Because really, who likes doing that? 5. A good excuse to go hat shopping…and then of course you might as well pick up some new shoes and outfits to go with those hats… 4. Free haircut. ‘Nuff said. 3. Increase your athletic prowess. Maybe it’s because you save time not wiping sweaty hair out of your face, or it might make you lighter and more nimble on your feet, or it could make your helmet fit better. Whatever the case: Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan, Andre Agassi = all bald. Coincidence? I think not. 2. Show your national pride. What is the National Bird of America? The BALD eagle. Not the 'Flowing Fabio Locks of Hair' eagle. Washington would be proud. And the number one reason to participate in St. Baldrick’s………. 1. It’s simple: it save lives. Register at….www.stbaldricks.org, find an event, register at St. John’s University, Queens. If you need more information, contact Angela Seegel at seegela@stjohns.edu or 718-990-2680.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
