Virtual Head Shave -Draft Picks Tackles Childhood Cancer - 4/26 - 5/31

We hope that you and your families are all healthy and doing well during these crazy times. We have some exciting news to share with you!

Although we were not able to do our in person head shave event at Draft Picks Naperville this year, we have now decided to create a virtual head shaving fundraiser, as we know "Hope will never be put on hold"  Non-profits like St. Baldrick's need our help more than ever, since in person head shave events bring in such incredible amounts of much needed fundraising. Sadly, childhood cancer isn’t taking a break during this Covid outbreak, and we need to do what we can to help.

Here's where the fun comes in!  We want to challenge you to virtually raise money on your own by shaving your heads in the safety of your own home. We know MANY of you must be overdo for your haircuts by now, since stay at home started in March, and will now be extended thru the end of May! Perhaps some of you have already tried your own haircuts and made a mistake, meh - what better way to fix it than to SHAVE IT ALL OFF!  Stand in solidarity with some innocent kids fighting cancer and raise money for life saving research while doing it!

We know you've already watched the whole Tiger King series, and maybe even have gotten to the end of Netflix (who knew that even existed ?!?) And let’s face it, showers and hair combing have become an optional past time! How about we completely skip the comb for a few weeks and shave it all off... by the time the stay at home orders are lifted, your hair will already be growing back!!

Here's how it will work:

 - sign up as a participant on our event page.

 - dates to shave will be between Sunday, April 26th and Sunday, May 10th - you pick the time and date!

 - share your link with everyone you know! St. Baldricks has now added a great new tool in which you can connect directly to your own Facebook fundraiser to get those donations. You will see this on your page when you sign up .

 - let everyone know exactly when you plan to shave. Make it even more fun by doing a Facebook live video and share all of your before and after pics.

-And yes, this year’s t-shirt is still available for any participant that fundraises $50 or more. When you hit your fundraising mark, we will share a link with you to have your shirt delivered.

Watch our Facebook page and share your pics and videos here!

We have raised over $93,000 over the past 3 years and couldn't have done that without you all! We look forward to seeing you all #DFYchildhoodcancers once again and can't wait to see your pics and how much we can do to help St. Baldrick's and kids fighting cancer!

Please feel free to send us an email with any questions or let us know if there is any way that we can help!

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
