KIDS STILL NEED CURES FOR CANCER. HOPE CANNOT BE PUT ON HOLD.
Our first 12 St. Baldrick’s celebrations in the gym with our shavees, barbers, students, staff, family members, mascots, honored kids, Weish4Ever recipients, music, Irish dancers, and The Chicago Stockyard Kilty Band were so much fun! This year’s event will be different from events in the past, but we still want to raise funds for childhood cancer research.
This year, on March 29th, we will be videotaping as our librarian Mrs. Cronin and 3rd grade teacher Mr. Pettinger have their heads shaved to kick off Northwest’s virtual 2021 Unmask to Shave the Day. We ask that this year’s participants to be photographed and/or videotaped as they have their heads shaved by the person/barber of their choice while still following current COVID health protocols, anytime between March 29 and April 11. After Mrs. Cronin receives everyone’s photographs and videos, we are going to make our 2021 Unmask to Shave the Day video, which we will share with our Northwest families.
Please help us #GiveKidsALifetime!
Northwest Is The Best!
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
