Be a hero for kids with cancer!
My name is Ashley and my sister, Jamie, and I became involved with the St. Baldrick's Foundation in 2012 after our precious niece was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor at the age of six.  We were shocked, devastated, and angry at the limited number of treatment options available for Leah and most children with cancer because of the lack of funding for research.  Leah gained her angel wings on December 12, 2012.  We vowed to do anything we could to honor Leah's life and carry on her fight to keep this from happening to other families.  Together, we have organized 3 St. Baldrick's events and shaved in 5, meeting and honoring many local children and families in the process like the beautiful Angel Thompson and the fabulous Noah Hays #noahstrong! This year, we are moving our event to Clemmons so we can partner with our biggest supporter, Davie Construction Company.  Please join us, Davie Construction, Village Square Taphouse, and Paparazzi Hair Salon for a really fun event and help us raise much-needed funds for these children who deserve a chance.  Let's take Childhood back from cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!
