My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. Carter Dang was your typical toddler who loved playing with his brother and friends and chasing his dog.  He was diagnosed on 11/11/11 with neuroblastoma, stage 4 high risk at 19 months.  For the last two years, SuperCarter has been fighting and undergoing major treatments- rounds of chemo, surgeries to remove tumors, stem cell transplant, radiation, chapter 14/18 antibodies.  He has relapsed 4 times since March 2013 and has had more surgery to remove tumors in his head along with radiation and chemo and 3 cycles of high dose chemo with stem cell rescues.  SuperCarter was a wonderful and sweet boy!!! He was a great patient and loves to help the nurses clean his lines and administer his medicines. With his stethoscope and medical kits, he was on the way to becoming  a great doctor!!
