From the Fremont Troll to the Space Needle, we know that you’re a little bit different, Seattle. And so are we.
We are the St. Baldrick’s Foundation — the charity with the funny name that funds kids’ cancer research through head-shaving events across the globe.Yes, you read that right. We are those crazy head-shaving people!
Our shavees℠ go bald at events worldwide to raise money for lifesaving childhood cancer research that will make this disease a thing of the past.
As the second largest funder of childhood cancer research behind the U.S. government, St. Baldrick’s has given more than $154 million in grants to scientists working to give kids with cancer long and healthy lives.
But shaving isn’t only about the fundraising. Kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment and that can be scary. By shaving our heads, we tell them: You are not alone. We are here, fighting beside you.
Calling all Seattleites — join us and change the world for kids with cancer. Get involved with one of these upcoming local St. Baldrick’s head-shaving events:
