We are the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-powered childhood cancer charity that raises money for research through head-shaving events across the globe.

2. You can give hope by raising green
St. Patrick’s Day is all about green — green duds, green swag, even green beer! But what’s more green than money? Gather the funds online or in a pot o’ gold (with or without the leprechaun) before your shave! Those dollars will support research to find better treatments for kids with cancer, so they can grow up to live long and healthy lives. And with all that green, we’re pretty sure you won’t get pinched. It’s a win-win!

3. Pay homage to history
St. Baldrick’s Foundation was started by three guys who shaved their heads in a pub on St. Patrick’s Day, hence the name: St. BALDrick’s. They started with a goal of $17,000 and blew it out of the water, eventually raising more than $100,000 for childhood cancer research. You never know what might happen when you brave the shave!
