This is the 6th year that Pack 161 has raised money for St Baldricks. Over the previous 5 years we have raised over $59,000 in support of childhood cancer research.

As many of you know childhood cancer has effected our community repeatedly in the past year. In the fall of 2015, Jaxson B., the younger brother of two of our Scouts (who unfortunately had to drop out of Scouting due to the scheduling demands of his treatment), was diagnosed with Atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT). On January 1st of this year, Aiden E., a classmate and friend of several of Bear scouts was diagnosed with Medullablastoma. Both boys are currently in treatment. Their families have asked for prayers and awareness about childhood cancers.

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
