This is the 4th year for Team "Remembering Michael Motorcycle". We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! We have come together to honor the bravest little boy we know, Michael McBride. Mikey died June 13, 2011 from a Wilms Tumor at just 6 years old. We thought to hear the words "your child has cancer" were the worst words a parent could hear....but in truth, the absolute worst was when the doctors told us "I'm sorry, there is nothing more we can do for your son"....to a parent, when you hear those words, it's beyond devastating. How can this be in the year 2014 - how can it be that we don't have new research and better drugs for our kids who are dying every single day from this disease?? That is why we continue to come back each year ~ to honor Mikey in hopes that the kids who do come after him will have a fighting chance ~ in hopes that no other parent will ever have to hear to words that we did, the words that broke our hearts forever "I'm sorry, there is nothing more we can do for your son, you should take him home and enjoy him".....we hope you will support our team in whatever way you can, big or small, or just to come out in support on March 30th, in support of all the kids who have died, and all the kids who are still fighting for their life! What if it was your child?? Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
