Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Go Bald or Go Home

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

We are group of friends who have become a Family of Warriors as we have joined together to kick cancer's ass, one dollar at a time. We proudly shave our heads in solidarity with kids who are undergoing cancer treatments and to raise critical funds for this fantastic charity! The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Since the Foundation’s first grants as an independent charity in 2005, it has funded more than 101 million USD in life-saving childhood cancer research. The startling reality that one in five kids diagnosed in the U.S. will not survive. These numbers MUST change. Please join us in fighting to make that happen. Our 2014 event will be the 2nd year hosted by The Harp Inn in Costa Mesa (Thank you, John!!) Details are still taking shape but stay tuned, it will be a day filled with much family-friendly awesomeness!! What can you do? 1) Please donate! No donation is too big or too small! Five dollars could buy the test tube that holds the first successful cure! 2) Sign up to be a Shavee! Bald is the new Black. 3) Come join us at the event!! It’s absolutely the party of the year and you won’t regret being part of it. We shave for brave children and their families who intimately know this journey. We promise to work with love and pride in their honor or in their memory.
